MOLATEK LIQUID FEED 35 AS SUPPLEMENT

This is a supplement and not a complete feed. Adapt animals over a 7-day period starting with 100 ml/animal/day. Before feeding an NPN containing lick, feed an ordinary salt/phosphate lick for at least 7 days. Sufficient grazing and/or roughage must always be available. Only use lick wheels kept full.

TREATMENT OF ROUGHAGE WITH MOLATEK LIQUID FEED 35

Apply MOLATEK LIQUID FEED 35 to roughage or dry veld to enhance intake. Dilute with an equal volume of water and spray the roughage or dry veld at the following rate:
MOLATEK LIQUID FEED 35 and water solution (50-50 mixture)
For cattle only – 1 l per 10 kg roughage. Feed ad lib.

NPN WARNING

This product contains urea and/or NPN sources. This farm feed contains registered stock remedies. Feed strictly according to instructions. Do not feed this farm feed indiscriminately with other NPN-containing farm feeds. See label for further details. Vinegar is an effective remedy against NPN poisoning. Mix with an equal amount of water. Dose 2-4 bottles per head (1 bottle = 750 ml). Protect this farm feed against rain. NPN is soluble and animals drinking such a solution could be poisoned. Consult an
animal scientist.

ADVANTAGES:

• Highly palatable, which increases the intake of dry veld pasture and roughage.
• It contains protein in the form of nitrogen for the microbes in the rumen, and readily available energy in the form of sugar (molasses), phosphate and trace minerals. It also increases the intake and digestion of poor quality roughage.
• The molasses acts as a binding agent during the production of pelleted feed.
