Feeding tips for the finishing phase:
- A portion of the grain component can be substituted to great advantage with Molatek Molasses Meal
- Maize can be partly replaced with the following:
- 50% with barley
- 50% with triticale (milled)
- 20% with wheat (milled)
- 50% with sorghum (milled)
- 100% with hominy chop
- Grind small grains to a fine texture.
- Grind maize coarsely (grit).
- Grind roughage with a 50 mm sieve.
- Diets that are too dry (without silage) usually limit intake. Add 5-10% (± 100 kg) water per ton of feed.
